Tudor Oysterdate chronograph 'Monte Carlo', reference 7032/0, in stainless steel, circa 1971. One of the two references that opened Tudor's chronograph production in 1970; the 7032/0 has its tachymeter engraved into the steel bezel, where the sister 7031/0 used a black insert. Within about two years both were replaced, so the hand-wound Valjoux 7734 inside belongs to the first run alone. Grey dial with a black outer track and black registers, orange five-minute numerals and an orange chronograph seconds hand. The five-sided Homeplate hour markers and the tritium hands have aged to an even cream. Dial and hands are original and untouched. Date at six under a horizontal cyclops. Tudor Oyster case made by Rolex, 39.5mm, 47mm lug to lug, unpolished with sharp lugs. Rolex screw-down crown and the original early flat-topped screw-down pushers. Folded Rolex Oyster bracelet ref. 7838 with 282 end links, clasp dated 1971. Condition: Very Good. Case unpolished with light wear. Bezel engraving crisp; the black fill has faded in places. Chronograph starts, stops and resets correctly and the date changes at midnight. Winds, sets and runs. Delivery contents: the Tudor watch on its Rolex Oyster bracelet. No box or papers.
