Breitling Premier 787 in Original Condition, Family-Owned The Breitling Premier 787 dates from approximately 1945 and has been in the family for decades. The watch was passed down from grandfather to grandson and only recently came into my possession from this family history. Particularly noteworthy is its authentic original condition, featuring the original dial, chronograph pushers, and case back. It is precisely these features that are rarely found today in vintage chronographs from this era, making the watch particularly interesting to collectors Inside, the renowned hand-wound Venus 178 caliber powers the watch—one of the most prestigious chronograph movements of its time, prized by collectors worldwide for its precision, reliability, and high-quality craftsmanship. The watch was serviced once by Breitling during its history; however, the corresponding documentation is no longer available. In 2024, the movement underwent a comprehensive technical overhaul. Since then, the watch has been in storage, awaiting its new owner.
